I started selling Duck Meat Koay Teow Thng since Jun 2020. My parents were in foods business in for more than 40 years selling various foods such as Char Hor Fun, Hokkien Char, Koay Teow Thng, Laksa, Poh Piah & Jawa Mee, which was how i have inherited the recipe. I have been helping my parents since I was 5 years old but later ventured into the cooking oil recycling business. But being brought up by my parents, cooking has always been in me. Thus, when the opportunity became available for me to own a spot at Lee Huat Cafe, I was persuaded by a friend to try Koay Teow Thng. This Koay Teow Thng is actually a combination of my parents and cousin's recipe, I was able to improved on the recipe focusing on the quality of stocks without using much MSG, 4-5hours of gentle cooking to achieve the fragrance and sweetness in my soup, this has gain my customer's appreciation over the last 2 years and together my niece at Lee Huat Cafe, we hope you will also enjoy my Koay Teow Thng.
